To whom it may
concern,
Ok, I sort of
said that I was going to let this one die, but I have been left with no choice
but to resurrect it a little bit. So most of you know that I e-mailed you
frequently concerning the desecration of the Arizona 9/11 memorial that was
reported on espressopundit.com. This was started with an article last week. By
this last weekend it was exploding in a big way. I had heard a quick mention of
it on local radio broadcast, bloggers where fanning the flames, the report was
televised on Fox News, and Len Munsil (www.lenmunsil.com) was getting into the
thick of it. As of Tuesday morning, the blogger for espressopundit.com was on
Fox News on "Fox and Friends". He has also stated more than a hundred
newspapers have carried the story. But not so much the Arizona Republic. The
state paper hasn't given much focus to this at all. The paper for the state
that houses the memorial in question that is apparently getting national press
hasn't been reporting on it in depth. What? Why are reporters neglecting a job
that screams of having the very things needed for a great report? This is prime
for a reporter. espressopundit.com says it this way: "The Sound of Silence ~ Funny, the
Arizona Republic hasn't said much about the memorial. I wonder why that is?
After all, the Republic is a major contributor to the memorial...oh, I guess I
just answered my own question." So I decided to get in the game hopefully for
one last play on my part (as far as e-mail updates go). I encourage you to send
people you know in the state of Arizona to this story. They have a right to
know what is happening in their own state and what is on the Arizona 9/11
memorial. They should be able to determine if this is right or wrong for
themselves; and also, they should at least be privy to the information
available. So I am going to use the "E" word again (like I haven't used it
enough the last couple of e-mails; I'll open a thesaurus soon I swear), I
encourage you to send people to the following link: http://members.cox.net/espressopundit/index.htm#Shock%20and%20Awe and
tell them to read it, then scroll their way up to the top to read the story
chronologically. And maybe encourage them to go to the memorial themselves, to
see it in person, to make that kind of determination by looking at the physical
memorial.
